Autumn Lake Christmas Cards Created for Teachers, Kids

Teachers and students at North Elementary School are receiving a special treat this Christmas season. Residents of Autumn Lake Healthcare, located in Crystal Springs, along with the activities department have been working hard on this year's Christmas cards. The residents enjoy creating handmade cards that are full of love and uniquely signed.

This recurrent activity provides anticipated joy and a sense of purpose for each resident that participates year after year. Reminiscing of Christmas's past, the residents expressed how special it feels to make and gift something with your own hands. It comes straight from the heart. Many agreed that growing up money was slim, but often these handmade items were like treasures that are still cherished and remembered today.
