ERCC Board of Directors names new members

ELKINS — Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center. welcomes two new Board of Directors members who bring decades of experience in business and health care to the organization.

Dorothy “Dottie” Wamsley returns to the ERCC board where she had served previously. She is also a member of the board at ERCC’s subsidiary Mountain Memories Assisted Living & Retirement Center.

Dedriah “Dedie” Irons has also been appointed to the ERCC board. Irons is a Randolph County native and a pharmacist.

“Our board is the backbone of our facility,” said Tara Shaver, ERCC administrator. “We rely on their guidance to ensure the complete compassionate care of our residents and staff members.”

Wamsley is a retired vice president of Huntington National Bank, where she worked for more than 35 years. She has served on the Parish and Finance committees of the Elkins First United Methodist Church. She has served as president of the Rotary Club of Elkins and the Randolph County United Way, and is a previous Director General of the Mountain State Forest Festival.

Irons has worked as a pharmacist for 36 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from West Virginia University and is a registered pharmacist in three different states.  She is currently a consult pharmacist with AllianceRx Walgreens.
