Submitted photo National Arbor Day will be celebrated on Friday at 5 p.m. at the temporary library on Randolph Avenue in Elkins. Hosted by the Emma Scott Garden Club, a Serviceberry tree has been planted by Terra Flora Landscaping in expectation of the event. Scouts of America will water and much the tree at the ceremony. The public is invited for the tree ceremony. The above photo is from last year’s Arbor Day event that was held at Bluegrass Park.
