ELKINS -- Meeting next week are council's Finance Committee and the Elkins Tree Board. Council meets Thursday.
The Finance Committee meets Monday at 10 a.m. to consider budget revisions and possible changes to the policy concerning health insurance coverage for council members.
The Tree Board meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Under new business, the board will take up a protocol for commemorative tree planting, ideas for the next Demonstration City grant application, trees at the Kroger property, and Arbor Day planting.
Council meets Thursday at 7 p.m. The agenda may be adjusted through Tuesday. Current items include first reading of an ordinance establishing a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district in Elkins and an equipment lease in Municipal Court.
