Students inducted into Honor Society

ELKINS -- On March 23, an group of eight Career & Technical students were inducted into the 2023 National Technical Honor Society at the Randolph Technical Center.
Four seniors and three juniors were honored as new inductees based on their skill development and academic success in their Career & Technical courses.
A luncheon prepared by Mr. Peter Daley's Pro-Start students was held prior to the ceremony and enjoyed by the new inductees, parents and guests.
Advisor Nicole McKisic led the induction ceremony, emphasizing that the NTHS rewards excellence in workforce education, develops self-esteem and pride, and encourages students to reach for higher levels of achievement.
In preparation for the recognition portion of the induction, second-year member Adria McKenzie lit the ceremonial candles representing knowledge, skill, honesty, service, responsibility, scholarship, citizenship and leadership.
The following students were then inducted as new members of the 2023 National Technical Honor Society:
Seniors Olivia Guire, Callie Loftis, Brooke Tallman and Morgan Taylor, and juniors Kourtney Jones, Emma Judy and Ashton White.
