The alumni scholarship is available to current Tygarts Valley seniors who plan to attend a college/university or technical school. After identifying information is redacted on their applications, the applications are scored by five members of the Tygarts Valley Alumni Association.
Applicants are scored based on their one-page essay, their GPA, volunteer/community service, leadership, honors and extra-curricular activities. The scholarships are made possible by the generous donations from TV alumni and fundraisers.
