Beverly Elementary students help with Make It Shine project

Students helped with several different projects at Beverly Elementary School as part of a Make It Shine program.
BEVERLY -- The Randolph County Make It Shine Project was a major inspiration in the creation of the Beverly Make It Shine Project at Beverly Elementary School.
Kaylee Rosencrance, Pre-K Teacher at BES, shared that she participated in a school clean-up day when she taught Kindergarten at Third Ward Elementary School and loved the sense of community it brought to their school.
"For that reason, we decided to start our own cleanup project here at our school (BES). It is something the students look forward to every year and they truly enjoy coming together to make a difference," Rosencrance said.
"Our school is like a family, and we work together to create a safe and clean space to learn. This project is just one of the ways our students, parents, and staff work together to create a better world. It is important for the students to understand it takes community and collaboration to make our world a better place.
"The BES Make it Shine Project is something our students take pride in and enjoy completing every year. Students wiped down classrooms, cleaned hallways, weeded gardens, cleared out the green house, swept floors, organized the Beverly Bookmobile, and created positive working friendships, while doing so," Rosencrance said.
