REVIVAL: at Markley Chapel will be through Sunday. Junior Perdue will be the leading evangelist, with special singing each night. Services will be at 7 p.m. each evening.
YARD SALE FUNDRAISER: Washington District Community Club yard sale fundraiser will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Washington District Volunteer Fire Company in Tallmansville (Upshur County). In addition to yard sale items, hotdogs, baked goods, coffee, soda and water will be sold. Proceeds support people in need in our community, including the Washington District Volunteer Fire Company and Washington District Elementary School.
ANNUAL INSIDE YARD & BAKE SALE: by the Mt Carmel Baptist Church Ladies Missionary will be Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The church is located beside the Randolph County 4-H. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., with lunch from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the group’s Annual Mission Goals.
COMMUNITY BABY PANTRY: There will be Community Baby Pantry at the Phil Gainer Community Center 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday. The community baby pantry is open to all Randolph County families with children under the age of five years old. All children are welcome to diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene products, and more. All items are free of charge.
