Rotary welcomes new member

ELKINS -- Cody Thompson has been welcomed to membership in the Rotary Club of Elkins.
A live-long resident of Randolph County, Thompson currently is the executive director for Diversified Assessment & Therapy Services.
In the past, Thompson served as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates and the City of Elkins Building Commission. He currently serves on the board of directors for Youth Health Services.
Thompson is a graduate of Marshall University with a B.A. degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. Thompson also holds an M.A. degree in Multi-Categorical Special Education from West Virginia University.
Thompson and his spouse Jake enjoy traveling, hiking local trails, antiquing, landscaping and quiet evenings at home with their dogs and cats.
Current Rotary President Kristie Vandevander sponsored Thompson for membership in the club.
