VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Calvary Assembly of God will host a vacation bible school July 25-28 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the church in Valley Head. There will be a meal every night and come learn about Christians in different continents with many special surprises, crafts and games.

4-H OX ROAST: 4-H Camp Pioneer will host the 60th annual Ox Roast on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in Beverly. The meal, priced at $15, will include two deep pit-roasted beef sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and drink. Customers may choose to dine In with friends or drive-thru. Randolph County 4-H members' project exhibits will also be on display for the public to view. Tickets may be purchased at the gate, online at camppioneerwv.com, or at the following sites: WVU Extension Office, Senior Center and Southern States in Elkins, the Beverly Heritage Center, and Liggett's Supply in Mill Creek. RETIREMENT CELEBRATION: There will be an Open House retirement celebration for Sharon Mallow on Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the Russell Memorial Public Library in Mill Creek. Please join us in honoring Sharon who was Library Director there for many years.

BIKE-A-THON: On Saturday, July 29, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, there will be a Bike-A-Thon held with all proceeds benefiting the building of the Dryfork Recreation Center. Children ages 2 to 12 may register to ride their bikes, trikes, balance bikes, scooters, rollerblades, etc. around the Dryfork Recreation Center. Participants are asked to gain sponsors for donations and/or per-lap pledges prior to the event. Fun activities and concessions will also be happening.
