VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Calvary Assembly of God will host a vacation bible school July 25-28 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the church in Valley Head. There will be a meal every night and come learn about Christians in different continents with many special surprises, crafts and games.
RETIREMENT CELEBRATION: There will be an Open House retirement celebration for Sharon Mallow today from 4-6 p.m. at the Russell Memorial Public Library in Mill Creek. Please join us in honoring Sharon who was Library Director there for many years.
BIKE-A-THON: On Saturday, July 29, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, there will be a Bike-A-Thon held with all proceeds benefiting the building of the Dryfork Recreation Center. Children ages 2 to 12 may register to ride their bikes, trikes, balance bikes, scooters, rollerblades, etc. around the Dryfork Recreation Center. Participants are asked to gain sponsors for donations and/or per-lap pledges prior to the event. Fun activities and concessions will also be happening. 31 BINGO: will be offered Saturday, July 29 at 1 p.m., with the door opening at Noon, at the Talbott Community Building. A concessions stand will be open. The event will feature a Chinese auction, a 50/50 drawing and a door prize. All proceeds will benefit the Talbott Community Building. For more information, please call 304-823-3764.
BOWL FEST: The Arts Center will host Bowl Fest, a pottery open house, and art gallery open on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
