Elkins Rotary Club hosts picnic

ELKINS -- President Kristie Vandevender presided over her final regular Elkins Rotary meeting of the 2022-2023 Rotary year during the club's annual Picnic in the Park in Elkins City Park.

During the 2022-2023 year, the club hosted various programs including the Homeownership Center, Valley Health Care, Arts Bank and WVU Extension Service.

Support was provided to numerous community organizations, such as the Elkins Randolph County YMCA which serves as home base for the club, Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs, the Elkins High School graduation lock-in, the Snowshoe Foundation, Randolph County CLIMB and Tygart Valley United Way.

The club will host a Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Belgium who will be arriving in August for the 2023-2024 school year.
