Elkins Rotary Club welcomes Godwin as newest member

ELKINS -- At the Rotary Club of Elkins' annual family picnic, the group welcomed Graham Godwin as a new member.

Godwin currently serves as executive director of the Randolph County Housing Authority. In addition to membership in the Rotary Club of Elkins, Graham serves on the boards of Woodlands Development Group, the HomeOwnership Center, the Child Development Center of Central WV and Highland Community Builders. He also serves on the Buckhannon Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and the Elkins-Randolph Chamber of Commerce's Workforce Committee.

Graham holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Shepherd University as well as a master's degree in political science from WVU. Prior to joining the Housing Authority staff, Graham served as director of research for Orion Strategies, as a grant administrator for World Vision, and as a development consultant with the United States Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan.

Graham and his wife Hilary are the parents of two pre-school aged children, Ian and Jensen. They also have two dogs and a cat. They enjoy hiking, cooking, game nights, and exploring new places.

Current Rotary club member Mike Bell, executive director of the Davis Health System Foundation, sponsored Graham for membership in the club. "This community has been very welcoming of me. I look forward to serving this community in an effort to help Elkins continue to be a beacon for the rest of the state," said Graham.
