ART EXHIBIT: The Arts Center will host the MSFF Fall Juried Art Exhibition in the Great Hall Gallery. Teresa Mason has a solo exhibit titled, "What You See" in the Maxwell Gallery. The exhibits will be open today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Oct. 10 to Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OPEN HOUSE: The annual Open House for Alumni of Elkins High School will be held today from 6-9 p.m. in the upstairs of the American Legion Hall in downtown Elkins. All Elkins High School Alumni and friends are invited to stop by to meet former classmates. Light refreshments will be served and there will be door prize drawings throughout the evening. Bring your friends and join in the festivities before and during the Firemen's Parade.
WEST VIRGINIA RAILROAD MUSEUM: will present local historian Don Teter offering a lecture and portraying iconic artist 'Porte Crayon.' The presentation will focus on an 1858 artists cxcursion along the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will get underway at 7 p.m. at the Darden Mill in Elkins.
