BUCKHANNON -- WVU Medicine St. Joseph's Hospital recognizes Healthcare Quality Week Oct. 15-21. This observance is always held the third week of October and was established by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in 1985 to recognize and celebrate quality professionals who deliver critical expertise to healthcare systems.
Healthcare Quality Week is a time devoted to acknowledging the progress made by healthcare and quality professionals toward improving patient outcomes and to ready us for the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The theme for this year is "Together, we are a FORCE for quality." Join us in celebrating the dedicated professionals who work faithfully to ensure high-quality care and patient safety for all. Quality matters, now more than ever, and we appreciate the tireless efforts of these professionals around the world.
