TUTOR TRAINING: will be presented by the Literacy Volunteers of Randolph County at the West Virginia Wood Tech Center. On Friday from 5:30-8 p.m., light refreshments will be served. On Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., lunch will be served. If interested, call Judy at 304-516-9225, or leave a message at the Elkins-Randolph County YMCA at 304-636-4515.
BUCKWHEAT BREAKFAST: will be hosted by VFW Memorial Post No. 5781 and Auxiliary on Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the post home in Harman. Buckwheat and regular pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs and drinks will be served.
BUCKWHEAT FEED: will be offered by the Beverly United Methodist Church Men's Group on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon at the church. The menu will consist of buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, eggs, coffee, milk and orange juice.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT SHOW: will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Beverly Fire Department. Sponsored by the BFD Auxiliary. The kitchen will be open selling delicious soups.
GREENWOOD CEMETERY MEETING: will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian Church in East Dailey. All relatives of those interested in the cemetery are asked to attend.
BENEFIT: will be hosted by the Roaring Creek Lions Club as a fundraiser for the Tim Elmore family to help with their funeral expenses on Friday, Nov. 10, at Coalton Saint Patrick's Parrish Hall. Hot dogs will be served at 6 p.m. and a cake walk will start at 7 p.m. Cake donations for the walk will be appreciated.
