FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE MEETING: Seneca Trail FOP Lodge 104 will meet Thursday at the lodge building at 7 p.m. The meeting will include election of officers for 2024.
BENEFIT: will be hosted by the Roaring Creek Lions Club as a fundraiser for the Tim Elmore family to help with their funeral expenses on Friday at Coalton Saint Patrick's Parrish Hall. Hot dogs will be served at 6 p.m. and a cake walk will start at 7 p.m. Cake donations for the walk will be appreciated. 104th VETERANS DAY DINNER: will be at American Legion Post 29 on Saturday, Nov. 11. The social hour will be at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Veterans eat free. Guest tickets are available for purchase. A limited number of tickets is available.

PURPLE MAJESTIES: All "nifty over fifty, ladies" are invited to join the Elkins Purple Majesties Red Hats for their monthly luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m., Nov. 13, at the Elkins Railyard Restaurant. The menu includes meat loaf, potatoes, vegetables and a delicious dessert. All Red Hat members and guests are welcome to attend. New members are always welcome. BUCKWHEAT AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The Randolph IOOF will host a sourdough buckwheat breakfast at the lodge hall on the Beverly Five-lane on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include sourdough buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, milk, coffee and orange juice. Apple butter will also be available.
HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA: will be hosted by Jennings Randolph Elementary School on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. More than 20 crafters and vendors will be set up at this event, which will include a silent auction for items provided by local businesses. Concessions will be available.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Dinner, Dance and Giveaway will be at Orchard Hall Friday, Dec. 1 from 6-10 p.m. All you care to eat, Italian sausage with pepper sauce, rigatoni and sauce, baked ham, salad, dessert and drinks. All tickets are for two. For information, call 304-636-5277.
