KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Dinner, Dance and Giveaway will be at Orchard Hall Friday, Dec. 1 from 6-10 p.m. All you care to eat, Italian sausage with pepper sauce, rigatoni and sauce, baked ham, salad, dessert and drinks. All tickets are for two. For information, call 304-636-5277.

CRAFT SHOW: Orlena Global Methodist Church in Gilman will be hosting a craft sale Friday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. There will be crafts, homemade goodies and lunch will be available for purchase.

HOLIDAY MARKET: The Arts Center will host the Annual Holiday Artist Market Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Dec. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON: at the annual Beverly Presbyterian Church Christmas Luncheon will be Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The homemade lunch includes soup, sandwich, drink, and dessert. Other items for sale will be delicious baked goods, jams, and the popular homemade Christmas Cookie Trays. This event is part of the annual "Old Fashioned Beverly Christmas."

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: Calvary Assembly of God Church on Route 219 in Valley Head will have a Christmas Program on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m.

RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL: will hold their December meeting on Friday, Dec. 8. The Elkins High School choir will perform at 11:45 a.m. at EHS Auditorium and lunch will follow at the Randolph Technical Center. Reservations are required. HOMESTEAD HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW: is scheduled for Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Homestead Community and Event Center located at 4051 Seneca Trail in Valley Bend. CHRISTMAS PARTY: At American Legion Post 29 will be Dec. 9 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for children ages 12 years and under. This will be held in Calain Hall, upstairs, at the 4th Street entrance. There will be pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, snacks, making cards for Veterans, and also some small gifts!

HUMAN RIGHTS CELEBRATION: will be Sunday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at the historic Kump House, 401 Randolph Ave., Elkins. Join the Kump Education Center in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with a special presentation by Becky Ashburn, an Eleanor Roosevelt reenactor. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Parking is available at the rear of the Kump House, with easy access off Seneca Road. BROWN BAG CONCERT: The Arts Center will host a free Brown Bag Concert Dec. 13 from noon to 1 p.m., with Raymond Godwin playing holiday music.

ART EXHIBIT: The Arts Center will host a free entry to an art exhibit reception for McWhorter Clouds and Rhopalium by Emily Prentice on Sat. Dec. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m.

CRAFT SALE: The United Women in Faith will be hosting a Cookies, Crafts, and More sale Dec, 16 9a.m. to noon at First United Methodist Church, 52 S. Florida Street, Buckhannon.

WEDNESDAY PICKIN': will again take place on the campus of Davis & Elkins College, in the lobby of the Boiler House Theatre, sponsored by the Augusta Heritage Center and D&E, every Wednesday until June (except for Thanksgiving Week and Christmas Week). The Country Music Jam Sessions run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and the Old-Time Music Jam Sessions run from 6:30-9 p.m. All acoustic instruments are welcome, as well as singers and listeners.
