ELKINS -- T. Richard Harvey, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Mountain Valley Bank, N.A. is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors, Tammy Harman Dolly and R. Scott Betler.
Tammy Harman Dolly, a dedicated businesswoman and community leader, hails from Elkins. As the owner of The Delmonte Market, Crossing Coffee Bar, and Tammy's Floral, she has made a significant mark on her local business landscape.
Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, she is the President of Our Town Inc., a non-profit organization she established in 2018, exemplifying her commitment to community development.
With a loving family, including her husband Robin, two daughters, Allison Fletcher and Meghan Martin, and the joy of being a proud grandmother, her life is firmly rooted in her family.
A seasoned traveler, she finds inspiration in exploring new horizons. Her exceptional contributions have not gone unnoticed, as she was honored with the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year award, and in 2015, she was nominated and chosen as a West Virginia Wonder Women recipient, celebrating her achievements and influence.
Her dedication to her community was further recognized with the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award in 2022 and the Non-Profit of the Year award in 2021. Dolly's story is one of entrepreneurship, family and a deep commitment to making her community thrive.

R. Scott Betler has more than 31 years of business leadership experience. During his career, in business finance, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking as well as management, growth and development in the private business sector.
Since 2008, Betler, a Certified Transportation Broker, has served as Executive Account Manager for Reckart Logistics. In 2021, her became Vice President of IMS West which provides a full-service industrial storage facility and nationwide large freight service in California.
Since 2011, he has served as Vice President of Iron Mountain Specialized, Incorporated. From 2017-2020, Betler was an Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain Management and Introduction to Economics at Davis & Elkins College.
As a descendant of the original settlers of the Swiss community of Helvetia, Betler is very actively committed to the preservation and history of this mountain village. He is the co-owner of Swiss Roots Inn and store in Helvetia.
Betler is a 1988 graduate of Elkins High School and a 1992 graduate of Fairmont State University with a B.S. degree in accounting. He and his wife, Lori, are the proud parents of two daughters, Tess Gabrielle and Lillyana Grace. They recently became grandparents with the birth of their granddaughter, Scottie Leigh Beers.

"My relationship with this wonderful institution began 35 years ago when I received my very first loan to help pay my way through college. I am very excited, now decades later of having the opportunity to join this leadership as it continues to provide excellent financial products to customers of this community and beyond."
