BRIDGEPORT — The new Bridgeport Menards store, located at 440 Haden Boulevard, will open on Tuesday, Jan. 30. With the opening of this brand new store, the Bridgeport community and surrounding area will now be able to further enjoy all of the great services, low prices and shopping conveniences that Menards has to offer.

“We really appreciate all the support we’ve received throughout the building process,” stated Jeff Abbott, Menards spokesperson. “We look forward to being a fixture in the Bridgeport community.”

The public is invited to attend a “Board Cutting Ceremony” on Friday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m.

Bridgeport Mayor Andy Lang and state officials will speak. Gov. Jim Justice has also been invited to speak.

The Grand Opening Celebration will be Sunday, Feb. 4 through Saturday, Feb. 10.

Legendary chainsaw carver John Gage will be creating woodcarvings on Sunday, Feb. 4 through Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

Menards race cars will be on display (#12 Ryan Blaney and #88 Matt Crafton) on Thursday, Feb. 8, through Saturday, Feb. 10.
