SILENT AUCTION: Calvary Assembly of God will have a Silent Auction on Saturday from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., at the Calvary Assembly of God Family Outreach Center on Route 219 in Valley Head. Calvary will also have hot dogs and drinks available, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., for purchase next to the Post Office in Valley Head.

GUEST SPEAKERS: On Sunday at 10:45 a.m.  at Calvary Assembly of God in Valley Head, guest speakers missionaries to the Philippines Rodney and Aida Stine will be speaking.

GOSPEL SING: at Christ’s Church in Horner  with Southbound on Thursday, June 6, at 7 p.m. featuring  Pastors Rick and Brenda Wyatt.  Free attendance and a ove offering will be received. Everyone is welcome. 

REVIVAL: Crystal Springs Community Church will be having a revival with Pastor Bobby Lambert  Thursday, May 30,  through Saturday June 1,  at 6 p.m. and Sunday June 2 at 11 a.m.

CHURCH YARD SALE:  Elkins Family Worship Center will be having their church yard sale on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at 14 Brookside Dr. in Glenmore in the Elkins Christian Academy Gym. There will also be a bake sale and hot dog sale The church is currently accepting yard sale donations and would love to take your leftover yard sale items. RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL:  will hold their May meeting on Friday, May  31,  at the Steer Steakhouse.  Lunch at noon and meeting to begin at 12:30 p.m. There will be a scholarship auction.  Please plan to attend, all retired school personnel are welcome”

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY USED BOOK SALE AND DONATION DROP OFF: Every Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the old library, 416 Davis Ave. Donations of books, movies, puzzles, and games in good condition also may be made at this location and time. Money raised goes toward expanding and renovating the building, which was severely damaged by multiple roof leaks in late 2021.

YARD SALE: at Orlena Global Methodist Church at Gilman will be Friday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunches will be available for purchase.
