The Teter CEOS met at Noon on Thursday, June 20 in the basement of the Tennerton UM Church.
Debbie Hinkle presided over the meeting and opened with a reading, "Don't Be Too Sad" and a moment of silence in honor of the recent passing of member, Jerry Stankus. Debbie led the group in a blessing before eating the lunch provided by hostesses, Penny Haymond, Barbara Hinkle, and Nancy Ward.
Nancy Hackett led the group in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag. Nancy Ward read devotions, "A Child of the King".
The group reported success in their Taco Sale at Festival Friday event and made plans to participate again. The next Taco Sale will be on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Jawbone Park for Festival Friday.
Happy Birthday was sung to Betty Oldaker in honor of her June birthday.
Plans were made for a tour and lunch at Adaland Mansion in Philippi on Thursday, July 18, at noon.
Debbie announced that our August meeting will be held at the home of Justine Woody. It will be a Reorganization Meeting. Janet Smith, Millie Hornbeck, and Nancy Hackett will present a slate of officers for 2025 at that time.
Nancy Ward presented the lesson titled, "Take Me Home, Country Roads". A very appropriate one for West Virginia's Birthday.
