REVIVAL: Crystal Springs Church will be having a revival today at 6 p.m. and Sunday morning at 11 a.m.. The speaker will be Rev. Bobby Lambert.

HOMEMADE PIZZA SALE: The Whitmer Community Church will be hosting homemade pizza sale noon to 5 p.m. today. Eat in or carry out is available. All pizzas will be 16-inch pizzas. To place an order please call 304-227-4798.
SOURDOUGH BUCKWHEAT BREAKFAST: will be at the Randolph Lodge IOOF lodge hall on the Beverly Five-Lane today from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include regular pancakes, sourdough buckwheat cakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk or orange juice.
CHEROKEE ARTISAN SHOWCASE: Today, the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area will host workshops and presentations on copper art, finger weaving, the Cherokee language and more. This free event will be held from 9:30 a.m-4:40 p.m. at the Appalachian Forest Discovery Center, Darden Mill, 101 Railroad Ave, Elkins, followed by a 6:30 p.m. evening performance at the Arts Center, 2 Park St, Elkins.

OPEN HOUSE: Tucker County AdultEd has recently moved, come by during the Open House on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 2-8 p.m. and check out the new location at 307 First Street, Parsons, WV 26287. AdultEd offers a wide variety of trainings/certifications, job prep, job skills, GED and much more.
FLANAGAN HILL FALL FESTIVAL: will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Community Building in Red Creek. Roast Beef dinner from 1 to 5 p.m. and a cake walk at 6:30 p.m. with live music and snack bar available. Throughout the day Raffle tickets will be sold for $200 gift card, Cass train ride for two amd Gandy Dancer Theater tickets for two. Will also have Chinese auction, theme basket raffle, 50/50 chances and homemade apple butter for sale.
RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL: will hold their September meeting on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Steer Steakhouse. BASEMENT SALE: First United Methodist Church, 52 S. Florida St., will host 12-hour basement sale 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. All proceeds will benefit mission projects of United Women in Faith. There will be grab bags available 7-8 p.m.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY USED BOOK SALE AND DONATION DROP OFF: Every Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the old library, 416 Davis Ave. Donations of books, movies, puzzles, and games in good condition also may be made at this location and time. Money raised goes toward expanding and renovating the building, which was severely damaged by multiple roof leaks in late 2021.
PARADE CHAIRS: Mountain State Forest Festival Grand Feature Parade seats for the Oct. 5 parade are available at Otterbein United Methodist Church at 1100 South Davis Avenue in Elkins. The parade seats are $5 each. Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 3, seats may be reserved by calling the Otterbein Church Office at 304-636-0569 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seats must be paid in full before Oct. 5.
