REVIVAL: Markley Memorial Chapel will host a revival Sept. 25 – Oct. 1. Services will be Monday through Saturday at 7 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Evangelist Lester Tanner will be the speaker and there will be special singing each night. The church is located on Route 219 (approximately 6 miles south of the Huttonsville Exxon and approximately 7 miles north of Valley Head). OPEN HOUSE: Tucker County AdultEd has recently moved, come by during the Open House on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 2-8 p.m. and check out the new location at 307 First Street, Parsons, WV 26287. AdultEd offers a wide variety of trainings/certifications, job prep, job skills, GED and much more.
RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL: will hold their September meeting on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Steer Steakhouse. BASEMENT SALE: First United Methodist Church, 52 S. Florida St., will host 12-hour basement sale 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. All proceeds will benefit mission projects of United Women in Faith. There will be grab bags available 7-8 p.m.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY USED BOOK SALE AND DONATION DROP OFF: Every Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the old library, 416 Davis Ave. Donations of books, movies, puzzles, and games in good condition also may be made at this location and time. Money raised goes toward expanding and renovating the building, which was severely damaged by multiple roof leaks in late 2021.
