RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES: will meet Friday, Oct. 25 at the Davis Medical Center Overflow Cafeteria. The program is at 1:30 p.m. with Julie Fleming, Physical Therapist. TRUNK OR TREAT: One Hope Covenant Church of Elkins is partnering with the Refinery Church, First Baptist Church and the Elkins First Church of the Nazarene to host their fourth annual Trunk or Treat. The event will be Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2-4 p.m. in the Phil Gainer Community Center parking lot in Elkins. Please bring a canned food or Humane Society donation item for entry.
BUCKWHEAT FEED: will be hosted by the Beverly Volunteer Fire Department at the Fire Hall on Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to noon. The menu will consist of buckwheat cakes, pancakes, sausage, gravy, juice, milk and coffee.
HALLOWEEN CAKEWALK: will be at the Talbott Community Building on the Talbott Road Saturday. The kitchen will open at 5 p.m., with the cakewalk at 7 p.m. A costume parade will be at 6:30 p.m.
ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL: will be at First United Methodist Church in Elkins on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. Activities will include hayrides, games, crafts, food and a trunk or treat. The event is free to all children. For more information, call 304-704-6937.
GREENWOOD CEMETERY MEETING: will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Presbyterian Church in East Dailey. All relatives of those interred in the cemetery are asked to attend.
REVIVAL: The Tom Anderson Mission Center, 2796 Abott Road, Adrian, will host a revival at 7 p.m. Oct. 28, 29 and 30 with Rev, Ralph Rawls of Asheville, North Carolina. Each night will feature singing.
KUMP HOUSE HALLOWEEN PARTY: Come join the Ghost of Governor H. Guy Kump as the Kump Education Center presents an evening of fun, games and treats. Oct. 31 is Governor Kump's Birthday and will be celebrated with tall tales from the ghost of the governor himself, a fortune teller, and ghostly musicians. There will be games for children, candy treats and more. Thursday Oct. 31 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 401 Randolph Avenue, across from Kroger. Parking access on Seneca Road. For children age 1-12 accompanied by an adult.

BUCKWHEAT BREAKFAST: will be at VFW Post #5781 on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8-11 a.m. at the post home in Harman. Buckwheat and regular pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs and coffee, milk and juice will be served.
VETERANS DAY DINNER: American Legion Post 29 will host its 105th Veterans Day Dinner Saturday, Nov. 9. The meal will be free of charge to veterans. Additional tickets for guests may be purchased. Meal includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, salad, dessert and drink. Social Hour at 5:30 p.m. and dinner @ 6:30 p.m..
