BUCKWHEAT/PANCAKE BREAKFAST: will be at the Randolph Lodge IOOF Hall on the Beverly Five-Lane today from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include sourdough buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, milk, coffee or orange juice. Take-out orders will be available.
FREE MEAL: One Hope Covenant Church of Elkins will be holding their annual Come As You Are Meal Sunday beginning at noon in the Phil Gainer Community Center. The meal is free and will be Thanksgiving style. Take out options will be available.
CARWASH: to benefit a Highland Adventist School student trip to Orlando, Florida will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Masterpiece Rentals parking lot on the Beverly Five-Lane.
INTERPRETATION TRAINING: Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area will host a Free Interpretation Training on Monday, Nov. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. online on Zoom and at the Wood Technology Center in Elkins (10 11th St, Elkins, WV 26241). Lunch is included. Presentations will cover basics of interpretation, project planning, research methods, giving tours, design, and more. WEDNESDAY PICKIN': The Augusta Heritage Center's weekly Jam Sessions will take place weekly in the new August Center Music and Dance Hall located on Davis Avenue. The sessions are free and open to all. County Jams start at 4 p.m. followed by Old-Time Jams from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information call 304-642-2369.

There is a cost for the breakfast. Children 5 and under will be admitted free. A bake sale will also take place. All proceeds will benefit the Dry Fork Recreation Center.
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: The annual Joy Circle Gifts Galore Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Otterbein United Methodist Church on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Otterbein UM Church is located at 1100 South Davis Ave., Elkins. The Bazaar will feature a cookie walk, baked goods, craft items and a white elephant sale. Proceeds will benefit missions for women and children.
CRAFT SALE: The annual Orlena Global Methodist Church Craft Sale will be held on Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Crafts and baked good will be up for sale at the event. Soup, sandwiches, and hot dogs will be available to purchase for lunch. For more information call 304-63-7675.
