A. Irons earned top 8 finishes in her 4 individual events, earning a 5th in the 50-m butterfly, 4th in the 100-m backstroke, and a podium finish of 3rd place in the 50-m breaststroke.
Additionally, the girls’ relay (Ujvagi, Anger, Irons, Irons) captured 2nd place in the 200-m medley and 400-m freestyle relays and earned a state championship in the 200-m freestyle relay.
Coach Eric Anger was pleased with the swimmers’ performances and noted, “With no easy access to a long course pool and limited summer practices altogether, I think these kids swam so well. I’m anxious to get our regular RAYS season started again so we can continue to improve.”

Kyan George, center, of the RAYS, took first place in the 50-meter butterfly, flanked by swimmers Zachary Lanning and Liam Dailey.
