Foundation elects officers and trustees

At its annual meeting on Nov. 13, the Board of Trustees of the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia elected Rev. Dr. Kenneth Krimmel, of Oak Hill, to serve as a Foundation Trustee beginning Jan. 1.

Rev. Krimmel, an elder in the West Virginia Annual Conference, resides in Oak Hill, where he serves as pastor of Oak Hill United Methodist Church. Ken is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College; he has advanced degrees from Drew University and United Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor, District Superintendent of the Little Kanawha District, the Director of Connectional Ministries, and the Assistant to the Bishop.

The Board also elected trustee Kristi Wilkerson, of Buckhannon, to a two-year term as Chair of the Board, and Rev. Jarrod Caltrider, of Dunbar, as Vice-Chair of the Board.

The Board also re-elected Foundation staff members Jeff Taylor, of Hurricane to serve as President; Kim Matthews, of Huntington, to serve as Vice President; and Susannah Carpenter, of Charleston, to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett serves as the Honorary Chairperson.

The United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia, Inc., established in 1974, manages over $170 million for ministries in West Virginia and Garrett County, Maryland.
