The Elkins Purple Majesties enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Steer, with the beauty of the Christmas season surrounding the group. From the fireplace, to the windows, to the Christmas tree, the decorations made the restaurant the ideal place to celebrate with friends. Hostesses for this event were the former queens. Red poinsettias were given as gifts to all in attendance. Twenty-four ladies, dressed in their red and purple finery enjoyed visiting with friends and making new acquaintances. The joy of the season was abundant on that day. Spending time with friends and enjoying good food are most important in being a Red Hat member. These ladies have had their careers, raised their families and have been productive members of society; they are now taking this time in their lives to laugh, share beautiful days and make new memories. The group will meet again on the second Monday in March 2026. Any lady is invited to join by calling Queen Carol at 304-614-0359 and make a reservation.
