St. George Medical Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Robert Travis Whitlow, OD, to its expanding team of healthcare professionals, officials said.

Dr. Whitlow brings a passion for quality, compassionate eye care and a strong dedication to serving the residents of Tucker County and surrounding communities.

Whitlow discovered his love for optometry early in life, inspired by his parents, both optometrists themselves.

He earned his bachelor’s in biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and went onto receive his Doctorate of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry.

Dr. Whitlow provides a full range of vision care services, specializing in diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, dry eye treatment, along with primary and emergency eye care.

He is committed to helping patients maintain healthy vision through preventive care, early detection, and personalized treatment plans, officials said.

“I’m excited to join St. George Medical Clinic and to care for the people of this wonderful community,” Whitlow said.

He also stated he has a heart for serving local communities and connecting with his patients in a small-town setting.
