AIRPORT AUTHORITY: The Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport Authority will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the airport terminal building.
RANDOLPH COUNTY DEMOCRACTIC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Kump Education Center. The Randolph County Democratic Women will meet immediately following the Executive Committee meeting at 6:15 p.m., same location. Light refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome to attend one or both of the meetings. Should the weather prevent an in person gathering, a zoom link will be sent out that day. WEDNESDAY PICKIN’: The Wednesday Pickin’ Country Music Jam Sessions are continuing to take place weekly at Armadillo Flats on Davis Avenue in Elkins. The jam sessions are co-sponsored by Augusta Heritage Center and C.J. Maggie’s. The Country Music Jams will now be from 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesday. Players, singers and listeners are welcome. The Old-Time Music Jams which were previously held at Armadillo Flats, following the Country Jams, will resume at a later date, time and location to be announced. BUCKWHEAT FEED: There will be a buckwheat feed at Homestead Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 7-11 a.m.
BUCKWHEAT BREAKFAST: The men of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church will host an all-you-can-eat buckwheat feed from 7 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 14. The meal will include regular pancakes, sausage and drinks. For more information please call, 304-636-1885.
BUCKWHEAT AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Randolph Lodge IOOF will host a sourdough buckwheat breakfast at the Lodge Hall on the Beverly Five-Lane on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include sourdough buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, sausage, bisquits and gravy, eggs, milk, coffee and orange juice. Carry-outs will be available.
BIBLE STUDY: The Tennerton United Methodist Church on Tallmansville Road in Buckhannon will be doing a Bible Study on “THE CHOSEN” starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22. All are welcome to come and participate.
OLD TIME MUSIC: Join in the first and third Mondays, 7-9 p.m. at The Arts Center in Elkins for an Old Time Music Session. Beginning musicians are encouraged to join in. Fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, bass are welcome. Participants enter through the back door. Contact dp-foot@hotmail.com.
