WEDNESDAY PICKIN’: The Wednesday Pickin’ Country Music Jam Sessions are continuing to take place weekly at Armadillo Flats on Davis Avenue in Elkins. The jam sessions are co-sponsored by Augusta Heritage Center and C.J. Maggie’s. The Country Music Jams will now be from 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesday. Players, singers and listeners are welcome. The Old-Time Music Jams which were previously held at Armadillo Flats, following the Country Jams, will resume at a later date, time and location to be announced. PANCAKE FEED AND COUNTRY STORE: First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Avenue, Elkins will host its Spring 2026 Country Store and Pancake Feed. The Women in Faith will operate the Country Store on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to noon. A variety of household, seasonal and other miscellaneous items will be available. Name your price. The First United Methodist Men will serve pancakes and sausage (regular and ramp) on Saturday, March 14 from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. for more information, call 304-636-0660.

FISH FRY: Knights of Columbus Council 603 will hold its annual Fish Fry each Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through March 27 in the St. Brendan Catholic Church parish hall. Meals will include a large piece of fish, French fries, coleslaw, bread, beverage and dessert. The cost will be $12 for an adult meal, $5 for children ages 5-12 and children under age 5 will eat for free. Eat-in or carry-out meals will be available. Proceeds will benefit Knights of Columbus projects and charities. The church is located off the Beverly Five-lane near the Glenmore community.

SPAGHETTI DINNER: Good Shepherd Christian Academy students will host a spaghetti dinner to raise money to attend the ACE Regional Student Convention on March 27.The meal includes spaghetti, garlic Bread, salad, dessert and drink (Dine-In Only). Call 304-591-7200 to place orders by phone. Lunch pickup/delivery will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and dinner dine-In or carry-out will be 4-7 p.m.

RANDOLPH COUNTY RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL: will host their monthly meeting Friday, March 27. Lunch will be at noon and the program and meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. Bring items for our Scholarship Auction, all retirees are welcome. For more information, call 304-636-7649

OLD TIME MUSIC: Join in the first and third Mondays, 7-9 p.m. at The Arts Center in Elkins for an Old Time Music Session. Beginning musicians are encouraged to join in. Fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, bass are welcome. Participants enter through the back door. Contact dp-foot@hotmail.com.

EARTH DAY/SPRING EXPO: The 2026 Earth Day/ Spring Expo event will be held at the Elkins City Park on Saturday, April 18. from noon to 3 p.m. The theme will be “Our Earth; Our Backyard.” Various informational booths and interactive activities will be available for all ages. There will be entertainment, food vendors and giveaways. The event is co-sponsored by the Tygart Valley Master Naturalist Chapter and Randolph-Tucker Master Gardeners.
