ELKINS – On April 9, an outstanding group of Randolph Technical Center students were inducted into the 2026 National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
Seventeen seniors and five juniors were honored as new inductees based on their skill development and academic success in their Career & Technical courses.
Principal John Daniels opened the event with remarks to welcome everyone for the reception and ceremony. The reception, prepared by Mr. Peter Daley’s Pro-Start students, was held prior to the ceremony and enjoyed by the new inductees, parents, and guests.
Advisor Nicole McKisic led the induction ceremony emphasizing that the NTHS rewards excellence in workforce education, develops self-esteem and pride, and encourages students to reach for higher levels of achievement.
Second-year members Ayriana Broughton, Ariel Snodgrass and Michael “Luke” Williams were recognized as returning members and presented with certificates. In preparation for the induction portion of the ceremony, these members led readings, lit the NTHS candles representing knowledge, skill, honesty, service, responsibility, scholarship, citizenship, and leadership, and then presented certificates, cords, tassels, and pins to the new inductees.
The following students were inducted as new members of the 2026 National Technical Honor Society: Seniors Aleighna Brenwalt, Grace Collins, Hayden Ferguson, Lillian “Lilly” Hedrick, Blayze Lambert, Madelyn “Maddie” Lambert, Abigail “Abby” Morgan, Katelynn Mullenax, Donavon Rohr, Halley Rowan, Audrina Shelton, Hayden Simms, Emma Ujvagi, Alyssa Ware, Delia White, Keaton Williams, Madison “Maddy” Zirkle and juniors Lucas Chapman, Gracelyn “Gracie” Harper, Sophia Rhodes, Lydia See and Eliott Talbott.
On behalf of the Randolph Technical Center, Mrs. McKisic then ended the ceremony with closing remarks and congratulatory wishes to these students who personify the attributes of this organization and represent excellence in Career & Technical Education.
