Submitted photo The Elkins Purple Majesties (Red Hats) were treated to a wonderful luncheon at the Steer Steakhouse on June 8. The group pampers themselves by spending time talking, visiting and laughter was heard throughout the meal. The hostesses for the meeting were Sonja Corbin, Debbie Pernia and Bev Denison, who created table decorations and favors for all in attendance. Door prize numbers were drawn and gifts were given away to members of the group. The next meeting/luncheon will be July 13 at 11:30 a.m. at 'Knot Just Another Barn' off Kingsville Road. For reservations call Carole Helmick at 304-614-3079.  Those interested in joining the Elkins Purple Majesties contact Helmick for reservations.
