Submitted photos The Fred Brooks Garden Club recently selected July Yards of the Month and a special 'Red, White and Blue' Yard of the Month in celebration of America 250. The DaSilva family and 134 Fayette Street was honored as the 'Red, White and Blue' Yard of the Month.

In District 1, the home of Susan and Brian Hollen at 14 Green Street was selected as a Yard of the Month.

The Yard of the Month in District 2 is the home of Jim and Ammie Valenson at 89 Elm Street.

In District 3, the home of Joyce Dagley at 109 Pocahontas Street was selected as a Yard of the Month.

The Yard of the Month in District 4 went to Amanda Smith at 149 Randolph Street.

In District 5, the home of Keith and Judy Carr  at 30½ Cleveland Avenue was selected as a Yard of the Month.

The Business Yard of the Month went to the WV Split Rail Corporate Office  at 8 Sedgwick Street.
