ELKINS — Two individuals have been charged after an alleged disturbance at Elkins Economy Inn on Saturday.
Joshua Ryan Noel, 37, of Elkins, is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, while Trasonda Yvonne Noel, 37, of Norton, was charged with transporting a controlled substance into a correctional facility.
Joshua Noel’s bond was set $60,000 cash only. Trasonda Noel’s bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a dispatch regarding a disturbance at the inn and observed drug paraphernalia after arriving at the room where the disturbance had been reported.
The release states that deputies then obtained warrants to search two rooms at the hotel, at which time officers recovered substances suspected to be methamphetamine and heroin, U.S. currency, scales, baggies and a firearm in addition to other items.
