On Friday, Youth Health Services’ Home Ties Child Development Center’s Pre-School 2 classroom learned about the significance of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Teacher Destinee Howell read a patriotic book with the children and they had a lively discussion about all those who help protect us and keep us safe. The children then took time to color pictures and write ‘thank you’ notes to be delivered to local firefighters and police officers.
