A vehicle lost control Tuesday afternoon and went over the embankment by the David Lee Cosner Memorial Bridge on Route 219 next to the Home Ownership Center in Elkins, officials said. The Elkins City Police Department, Elkins Fire Department, Randolph County Emergency Squad and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. No injuries were reported, as the driver walked away from the crash and refused any medical treatment, according to officials.
