ELKINS -- Applications are being accepted for a new training course known as Leadership Randolph being introduced by the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce.
In announcing the creation of Leadership Randolph, the Chamber said the new initiative seeks to "develop and prepare leaders to move Randolph County forward," an E-RCCC press release stated.
Leadership Randolph is a nine-month course that will meet one day each month, from September 2022 through June 2023.
"Participants will engage in leadership training while gaining an understanding of economic development, manufacturing, government, education, healthcare, tourism, and more," the release states.
The Chamber anticipates this first Leadership Randolph class to have between 10 and 15 participants. Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural class.
There is a tuition fee to participate and class members must commit to attending each session. A culminating dinner and celebration will occur on the final session day in June 2023.
