ELKINS — The 85th Mountain State Forest Festival has announced the selection of Royal Jesters Anna Lee Elbon, Aubrie Paige Evans, Peytan Grace Petrice and Addalynn Mckenzey Sotosky to the Royal Court of Maid Silivia LXXXV.
The four Randolph County students, having earned the distinction through an audition process, will have the honor of providing entertainment in the form of dance and tumbling throughout the festivities from Sept. 30 through Oct. 8.
Elbon, 13, is the daughter of Danielle Brookins of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Cynthia Snyder, Donnie and Laura Elbon, both of Elkins, and Doug Brookins of Mansfield, Ohio. Anna has one brother, Brycen.
In the fall, Elbon will be in the eighth grade at Elkins Middle School, where she participates in volleyball and is a member of the EMS Band. Anna attends the Dance by Farrah Studio, where she is a member of the acro, lyrical, and hip-hop competition teams.
Evans, 15, is the daughter of Bryan and Melissa Evans of Valley Bend. She is the granddaughter of Sheila Scott of Beverly, Steve Scott of Junior and Barbara Evans of Akon, South Carolina. She has one sister, Korri Evans.

In the fall, Aubrie will be in the 10th grade at Elkins High School, where she is an Honor Roll Student. She has been a cheerleader since sixth grade, where she lettered all four years. Her freshman year, she was chosen as a Big 10 All-Conference Cheerleader.
Evans has danced and tumbled for Axis Training for 12 years. She enjoys riding and driving their side by side, hunting, and spending time with her friends. In the future, Aubrie plans to attend WVU and study nursing.
Petrice, 14, will be entering ninth grade this fall at Elkins High School. She is the daughter of Steven and Cynthia Petrice of Coalton. Peytan is the granddaughter of Tom and Sandra Petrice of Coalton and Patsy Rush and the late Ronald Rush of Mill Creek. She has one brother, Damen, and one sister, Natalie.
Petrice previously attended Elkins Middle School, where she was an honor roll student and a cheerleader for three years. She has danced and tumbled for Axis Training for six years, was the 2022 Teen Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen and the 2023 Spring Mountain Festival Teen Queen.
Peytan’s hobbies include bear hunting, deer hunting, fishing, photography, traveling, camping, anything outdoors and vacations with her family. In the future, she plans to attend college and become a veterinarian.

Petrice
Sotosky, 11, is the daughter of Timothy Sotosky and Jackey Lewis of Beverly. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Pat Lewis of Beverly, Mark and Jill Sotosky of Windber, Pennsylvania, and Fred and Billie Thomas of Mills, Pennsylvania. Addalynn has one brother, Landon Lewis.
In the fall, she will be entering the seventh grade at Elkins Middle School, where she is a member of the EMS Band, an honor roll student, and an active member of student council. Sotosky is also a competitive dancer at Dance by Farrah and does recreational gymnastics at Mountain Gymnastics Academy in Elkins.
Addy enjoys being outside fishing with her brother and her Pop and exploring the creative arts. In the future, she hopes to be a professional dancer and choreographer.
