Students in Randolph County Schools were asked to put their creative talents to work to design a poster that captures the theme for school attendance, which is "Attendance Matters. Each School Day Counts. Every one."
Students of all grades were encouraged to participate in the contest and submissions were sent to Rochelle Chenoweth, the county school system's attendance director.
Chenoweth had a committee of three judges choose a winner from each grade level with over 107 posters. The winners will be honored at the Nov. 28 board meeting.
