ELKINS - Thirty individuals were indicted by a Randolph County Grand Jury Monday, for alleged crimes including malicious assault, child neglect and wanton endangerment involving a firearm.
The individuals indicted include:
Mark Shane Barb, 58, of Elkins, was indicted on one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or with a BAC of .08 or higher, third or subsequent offense, a felony.
Denver Franklin Bennett, 31, of Valley Head, was indicted on one count of escape by persons in custody of institutions or officers, a felony.
Deandre Lavar Brown, 34, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted on four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of conspiracy, a felony.
Sylvester Lawrence, Jr., 29, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted on four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of conspiracy, a felony.
Jalissa Andree Thompson, 34, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was indicted on four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, one count of conspiracy, a felony, and one count of child neglect creating risk of serious bodily injury or death, a felony.
Joshua Thomas Copella, 43, an inmate at the Tygart Valley Regional, was indicted on two counts of failure to register as a sexual offender or provide notice of registration changes, second or subsequent offense, a felony.

Leon Junior Eaton, 58, of Mill Creek, was indicted on two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, a felony, two counts of domestic battery, a misdemeanor, and one possession by prohibited person of a firearm, a misdemeanor.
Michael Samuel Ferguson, 36, an inmate at Huttonsville Correctional Center, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance by inmate, a felony, and one count of offense committed by inmate, a felony.
Tyler Jeremiah Ferrebee, 32, an inmate at Huttonsville Correctional Center, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance by inmate, a felony, and one count of offense committed by inmate, a felony.

James Dennis Hise, 57, of Elkins, was indicted on 12 counts of possession of material depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, a felony.

Bond return for the indictments returned by the February 2024 term of the Randolph County Grand Jury will be on Monday, March 4 at 1:30 p.m., at which time bond will be set and trial dates will be determined.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
