ELKINS -- The Arts Center will host a reception for two art exhibitions Friday, including a Tamarack Foundation for the Arts exhibit.

The "Faith, Family and Friends" solo exhibition by Holly Hinkle will be on display beginning Friday, as will "The Art of Fellowship," an exhibition celebrating the TFA Fellowship artists throughout the years, and TFA's commitment to combat isolation by connecting West Virginia's artists.

The reception will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at The Arts Center.

TFA officials hope the group show will inspire others to join the TFA mission and to showcase the work and talent that the state's arts community relies on to thrive.

"We are pleased to announce the opening of our culminating exhibition, titled 'The Art of Fellowship,' featuring a diverse collection of works by past and present participants of our Emerging Artist Fellowship and Creative Entrepreneur Fellowship programs," said Mary Roy, Communications Manager for Tamarack. "These initiatives have been instrumental in empowering and supporting artists throughout our state. To date, we have awarded the fellowship to 28 artists, the majority of which will have work in the exhibition."

The exhibition will run through July 31 at The Arts Center.

"This exhibition not only showcases the talent nurtured through our fellowship programs but also celebrates the artistic diversity and creativity thriving in our community," Roy said. "It provides a unique opportunity to engage with local artists and learn about their journeys and inspirations.

"We believe that 'The Art of Fellowship' will be of significant interest to your readership, highlighting both the cultural vitality of our region and the impactful work of the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts."
