Two deputies, civilian injured in Mill Creek wreck

MILL CREEK – Two Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies and a civilian driver were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Mill Creek Saturday night, officials said.
The deputies were responding to a call in Mill Creek on Taylor Lane and collided with a full-sized Dodge truck, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
The truck’s was transported to Davis Medical Center for treatment, while three passengers in the truck were not injured, the release states.
Deputy A.B. Beverly and Deputy B.M. Roy were alsotransported to DMC, according to the release. Deputy Beverly was treated and released. Deputy Roy underwent surgery for a broken femur.
“Prayers would be appreciated for everyone involved,” Sheriff Rob Elbon wrote in the release.
Trooper Hall from the West Virginia State Police is investigating the accident. Lt. B.A.Talkington and Chief Deputy B.T. Sharp assisted at the scene.
