14 RIF hearings slated for Monday at EHS theatre

ELKINS — The names and positions of all the employees slated for RIF (reduction in force) hearings on Monday evening have been released by the Randolph County Board of Education.

Hearings for staffers who have received RIF letters will take place Monday through Thursday at the BOE office, beginning at 5 p.m. each evening. The hearings will take place in the Elkins High School theatre.

Employees who receive a RIF letter can request a hearing and also speak to Board of Education members during RIF personnel meetings.

The BOE will vote on all the RIF recommendations at the end of Thursday’s RIF hearings, a BOE representative told The Inter-Mountain Friday.
