ELKINS – The Randolph County Office of Emergency Management and 911 has announced that a planned power outage is scheduled for Thursday.

The following information was released at about 7:40 a.m.:

“Mon Power will be having a planned power outage on Thursday, June 12th, from approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. to perform maintenance on equipment. This will include customers in the vicinity of Appalachian Highway, Bonner Mountain Rd, Esten Cooper Rd, Pennington Rd, Mott St, Water St, and Whitmer Rd.

“In the event of inclement weather, the planned outage will be rescheduled for Friday, June 13th. If you have any questions, please call Mon Power at 1-800-686-0022.”
