MILL CREEK – Randolph County Schools is offering resources today for the community following the death of a Tygarts Valley Middle/High School student.

The Tygarts Valley Middle/High School’s cafeteria/band room is open to the public today, Tuesday, June 24, to offer resources and support for students, staff and community members “who need to process” the loss of a fellow student, Randolph County Schools announced on social media Tuesday morning.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our Tygarts Valley Middle/High School students,” Randolph County Schools said in their statement. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.”

No further information was released by the school system at this time.
