Harman man facing federal drug charge

ELKINS — A Randolph County man is facing up to 40 years in prison on a federal drug charge.

Jacob Paul Wilson, 28, of Harmon, has admitted to distributing more than five grams of methamphetamine, officials said.

According to court documents, Wilson was selling methamphetamine from his home in Randolph County.

Wilson faces at least five years and up to 40 years in federal prison.

A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Warner is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.

The Mountain Region Drug Task Force, an HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael John Aloi presided.
