ELKINS — The Rotary Club of Elkins welcomed physician Dr. Farukh Khan to its membership. A long-time member of the Elkins community, Khan’s practice focuses on family medicine and emergency medicine.
Khan is an avid pickleball player, capturing a gold medal in the United States Senior Games in Pittsburgh in 2023.
Tammie Rizzio, executive director of Youth Health Service and Elkins Rotary’s immediate president, sponsored Khan’s Rotary membership.
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in their communities, and in themselves.
