A grapple excavator with Allegheny Excavating, LLC picks up large pieces of the foundation from the former Four Seasons Motel on Harrison Avenue in Elkins on Tuesday morning.
The strain of lifting the weight of one piece causes the heavy equipment to partially rise up off the ground, at right. The demolition of the building began on Aug. 5.
